How would you define masculinity?
Our world is in upheaval, jumping from crisis to crisis, the changing state of social dynamics, and with the rise of the feminine, this question is harder than ever to answer. The shadow aspects of the masculine, control, greed, power, punishment, struggle, and self obsession, have ruled how we define being a man for centuries. The resulting fallacy has created an environment of confusion, grief, and pain for millions of well intentioned men across the world, driving us to become more and more isolated, shut down, lost, and jaded.
However, the time of the lone wolf is dying and along with it society’s narrow and shallow definition of masculinity. With every good death comes a rebirth and there lies the opportunity each of us have to wake up, clean up, and show up in our most upleveled version. This ultimately becomes the greatest gift for ourselves, our friends, families, and the entire world. The gift of being role models for the generations to come.
We welcome you to the Odyssey of Man, a hero’s journey into redefining masculinity. The Hero’s Journey was never meant to be done alone, as is evident in all the great myths and legends! Every hero takes the call-to-action, crosses into the unknown, and meets a series of allies that not only enlighten us with their wisdom but also provide us with the courage it takes to face the darkness within. Without these great fellowships, heroes lack the confidence and skill to face what must be faced.
